Baltic Online Job Day to be held in October

RIGA – The first Baltic Online Job Day "Fast-track Career in the Baltics" organized by the employment agencies of the three Baltic states and European employment network EURES will be held on October 20, the Latvian State Employment Agency (NVA) reported.

The Online Job Day will be held with the support of the European Commission and on www.europeanjobdays.eu platform where employers can register a profile of their company, present the company, inform on vacancies, receive CVs of candidates, while during the online event employers will be able to meet candidates on virtual job interviews.

NVA informed that Latvian, Lithuanian and Estonian employers will participate in the event to attract qualified specialists from Baltic and other European countries. The network cooperation partners will inform candidates about working and living conditions. There will also be information about starting a business in the Baltic states.

The registration is open until October 13.

EURES is a cooperation network designed to facilitate the free movement of workers within the EU 28 countries plus Switzerland, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.
