Baltic foreign ministers to make joint visit to Ukraine

TALLINN - The foreign ministers of the three Baltic countries will make a joint visit to Ukraine on Thursday.

Estonian Foreign Minister Eva-Maria Liimets, Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics and Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis will be in Ukraine on a joint visit on Thursday at the invitation of Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba to affirm solidarity with Ukraine, spokespeople for the Estonian Foreign Ministry said. 

The aim of the visit is to affirm the solidarity of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania with Ukraine in light of destabilizing activity by Russia, to express support to Ukraine and to get an in-depth overview of the situation.

The ministers will discuss practical steps to support the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, strengthen security cooperation and advance the country's European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
