Average scores in Latvian pupils’ compulsory exams slightly improved

This year, pupils' overall performance in national centralized exams was largely the same as last year, but the results of compulsory examinations improved somewhat from previous years, the National Center for Education said. Pupils' average performance in the centralized English language exam improved by eight percentage points from last year to 70 percent this year, which is the highest average score since 2009. Results in the French language exam improved from 69 percent in 2019 to 75 percent this year, which also is the highest achievement since 2009. ...
