Australia opens an experimental ‘pop-up Embassy’ in Tallinn

In a first of its kind, Australia, which has had no permanent diplomatic missions in the Baltic States since Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania regained independence, has opened a so-called pop-up Embassy in Tallinn. The move represents an innovative approach to expanding Australia’s diplomatic network in the Baltics and increases the country’s visibility in Estonia as well as in the Baltic region in general.
