Another long-standing KNAB official fired

The chief of the Latvian Corruption Prevention Bureau (KNAB), Jaroslavs Strelcenoks, has fired another long-standing official, the head of the Division of Criminal Intelligence Process, Juris Jurass. Strelcenoks’ decree provides that labour relations with Jurass are terminated on Aug. 15 of this year. The decree said that Jurass’ professional qualifications and experience do not meet requirements for any of the new positions and vacancies established after restructuring of the bureau.
