RIGA - Eleven more Covid-19 cases have been recorded in Latvia during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases to 71, the Center for Disease and Prevention informed Wednesday (SPKC).
During the past 24 hours the SPKC carried out 604 Covid-19 tests, of which 11 came back positive. In all, 2,144 tests have been carried out in Latvia so far.
As reported, in an effort to prevent Covid-19 from spreading further in Latvia, a state of emergency came into force on March 13, setting a number of tough restrictions. The state of emergency is in force until April 14.
