RIGA - On Tuesday, Uzbek Ambassador to Latvia Kadambay Sultanov discussed the opportunities for Uzbek producers to move part of their manufacturing to Ventspils Freeport's industrial territory, LETA learned from Ventspils Freeport representative Inga Ievina.
The Uzbek delegation met with Ventspils Freeport administration and visited Ventspils port companies Bio-Venta, VK Terminal Services, Immer Digital and Noord Natie Ventspils Terminals.
Sultanov underscored Uzbekistan's interest in developing cooperation with Latvia, especially in exports of Uzbek goods to the EU countries.
