Alcohol production in Latvia in the first quarter of this year grew 20.6 per cent compared to the same period in 2016, the Latvian State Revenue Service said. In the first three months of 2017, alcohol totalling 3.694 million liters of absolute alcohol was produced in Latvia, which is by 631,210 liters of absolute alcohol more than in the first quarter of 2016. Alcohol output in the first quarter of this year comprised ethyl alcohol in the amount of 1.285 million liters of absolute alcohol and dehydrated alcohol in the amount of 2.409 million liters of absolute alcohol, up 3.3 per cent year...
