AirBaltic says its market share in Tallinn has grown to 28%

TALLINN – Latvian carrier airBaltic announced on Tuesday that it saw its market share at Tallinn Airport increase further to 28 percent in May, and Tallinn remains the second largest base for the airline.

Compared to the same month last year, airBaltic's market share has increased by 8 percentage points from the 20 percent market share the airline had at its second largest base in the same month last year. This summer season, airBaltic launched direct flights to 20 new destinations, four of them from Tallinn Airport. The airline has recently begun connecting Tallinn with Rhodes and Heraklion in Greece, and Split and Dubrovnik in Croatia.
