RIGA - Latvian airline airBaltic reports a 79% increase in the number of mobile bookings in 2018, compared to the year before.
Jouni Juhani Oksanen, SVP e-Commerce, Sales and Marketing of airBaltic: “Mobile bookings on airBaltic website have seen very strong growth for a few years now. This can be attributed not only to the growing popularity of booking services from mobile devices, but also to the user experience airBaltic is continuing to improve significantly.”
“In order to provide the easiest booking process, we do not require our passengers to download an application. Instead, we offer to conveniently book trips using our website,” Jouni Juhani Oksanen added.
In 2018, airBaltic has carried 4 135 711 passengers or 17% more than last year to its network spanning Europe, Scandinavia, the CIS and the Middle East. It is the highest number of passengers carried in airline’s history.
airBaltic serves over 70 destinations from Riga, Tallinn and Vilnius, offering the largest variety of destinations and convenient connections via Riga to its network spanning Europe, Scandinavia, the CIS and the Middle East. In summer 2019, airBaltic will introduce five new destinations from Riga to Dublin, Stuttgart and Lviv as well as Kos and Menorca.
