A Boeing 777-328 of Air France carrier made an emergency landing at Riga International Airport on Monday, May 30, the airport’s spokeswoman Sarmite Rinmane said.
Eyewitnesses reported that police and ambulance vehicles had briefly approached the aircraft, but that passengers stayed onboard. The Air France flight had been on its way to Beijing.
Rinmane said that the incident did not affect any outbound or inbound flight and that all flights were arriving and departing as scheduled.
