RIGA - Latvian airline Air Baltic announces that during the upcoming summer season 2022, which will begin on March 27, 2022, it plans to offer flights to a total of 13 destinations from Tallinn.
In addition, the airline will operate flights on 64 routes from Riga, 12 from Vilnius and seven from Tampere. In total, Air Baltic will offer flights to 92 destinations this summer season, the company said.
Due to the current airspace restrictions, the company has decided to suspend the planned flights from Riga to Baku and Yerevan for the upcoming summer season.
As reported, Air Baltic carried 1.628 million air passengers in 2021, up 21.4 percent against 2020.
The Latvian state currently owns 96.14 percent in Air Baltic, and a 3.86 percent stake in the airline belongs to Aircraft Leasing 1, a company owned by Danish businessman Lars Thuesen.
