With the funding of the specialist credit bank Bigbank in Riga, a new block of three residential houses Rēdera nami with 75 apartments is being built on the bank of the Daugava. The loan of 2.2 million is another investment of Bigbank to finance the real estate sector in Latvia. The building reconstruction work carried out by SIA Pilsētas skati has already started and the first apartments will be on offer for new homeowners this summer.
The enclosed block of three buildings is located at Maskavas iela 48, between Mazā Krasta, Maskavas and Dzirnavu iela, and faces the Daugava, therefore, some of the new residents will have a picturesque river view from their windows and will be able to enjoy the sunset over the Daugava or festive fireworks. The block is only a 15-minute walk to the Old Town, Central Railway Station, shopping centres Origo and Mols. Lucavsala Recreational Park is also a 20-minute walk away.
The Rēdera nami project involves the reconstruction of three existing buildings, which will offer 75 fully finished apartments for purchase or rental. 1, 2, 3 and 4 room apartments with a floor area between 14 and 73 m2, storage facilities and parking spaces in the courtyard of the building will be available. The total floor area of the apartments is approximately 3100 m2. Individual water and heat meters will be installed in each apartment.
New external and internal networks will be constructed for all buildings, including a new autonomous gas heating unit. All roofs, doors and windows are to be replaced, insulation works and facade refurbishment are to be carried out in order to provide an energy efficient building for residents. A children’s playground and a small recreational area will be set up in the courtyard of the fenced area, a bicycle stand and parking spaces will be installed and the fence wall will be painted.
“SIA Pilsētas skati is an experienced team of real estate developers whose portfolio already has a number of successful reconstruction projects, for example Grīzīņkalna republika. Their knowledge and skills encouraged us to join the project, and we are pleased that we will soon be able to offer the residents of Riga another high-quality residential building with a large focus on ergonomic planning, quality finishing materials and, of course, an excellent location near the Daugava,” – says Mareks Grodskis, Head of the Corporate Lending Department at Bigbank.
All three buildings will feature amenities and interesting interior solutions. Specially modified staircases provide space for prams and bicycles, and intercoms are installed for extra security, whereas bathrooms feature underfloor heating.
