Latvia’s largest cosmetics manufacturer, “H.A.Brieger,” has made an investment exceeding 30 thousand euros to advance its “Asari” toothpaste line. This investment has resulted in the creation of a new and limited availability product for sale in Latvia and export markets - a quince and apple flavored toothpaste with a whitening effect. Additionally, the formulation of all four products in the “Asari” line has been improved; their formulas now include ingredients that provide more effective control of plaque formation.
Seasonal flavor and effective composition
Made in Latvia, natural with a seasonal flavor that you want to experience again and again! That’s how the new “Asari” quince-apple toothpaste can be described, containing 98% natural origin ingredients. Each tube (75 ml) contains a fluoride concentration of 1450 ppm F, which helps strengthen tooth enamel and prevent caries formation. Like the entire “Asari” line, the new product is designed for daily use not only by adults but also by young people.
Anastasija Udalova, co-owner and manager of “H.A.Brieger” emphasizes: “We, H.A.Brieger, as being the largest cosmetics manufacturer in the Baltics, are continuously looking for ways to innovate and expand our product range. With the new “Asari” line’s quince-apple toothpaste, we aim not only to strengthen our position in the oral care segment by offering an amazing daily ritual for dental health but also to create healthy competition against imported pastes in our home-market – Latvia. With this new product, “Dzintars” demonstrates that mass-market products can indeed be truly interesting! Therefore, we have decided to offer this novelty and other toothpaste proudly made by us in Latvia to customers in export markets as well, not only to make the name of Latvia heard but also to make it shine brightly in the smiles of our world-wide customers.
Availability in stores
The new quince-apple toothpaste from “Asari” line is now available for purchase at the “Dzintars” online store www.dzintars.lv, the department store “Stockmann”, the pharmacy chain “Benu”, the beauty store chain “Douglas” and at Riga Airport. Soon, the product will also be available at the supermarket chain “Rimi”.
As previously reported, the innovative toothpaste line “Asari” has been available since 2022. Currently, customers in Latvia are offered both the new limited edition quince-apple toothpaste and the previously popular flavors of rhubarb, currant, and orange-peppermint.
About “H.A.Brieger”
The origins of the “Dzintars” cosmetics manufacturing trace back to 1849 when Heinrich Adolf Brieger founded a soap and perfumery factory in Riga, which over three generations grew to be among Latvia’s largest cosmetics manufacturers. The new owners purchased the factory with the aim of returning to Brieger’s approach - slowly, deliberately, and carefully creating products for our dynamic world. Hence, the company and factory’s name was changed to the historical “H.A.Brieger,” while retaining the “Dzintars” brand for cosmetics products. The largest shareholder of the cosmetics manufacturer “H.A.Brieger” is the Estonian industrial manufacturing company “Skinest Group,” operating in ten countries with over 1,400 employees. “Skinest Group” owns 67% of “H.A.Brieger,” while 33% is owned by the company’s manager, Anastasija Udalova. “H.A.Brieger” has received ISO 9001 quality management and GMP or ISO 22716 good manufacturing practices certificates.
