'Dzintars' expands its product portfolio with facial sun protection products; an investment of more than 80 thousand euros

Latvia’s largest cosmetics manufacturer, H.A.Brieger, has invested more than 80,000 euros to expand the popular “Dzintars” sun care line. The new products are designed for people who spend a lot of time outdoors – traveling, playing sports, hiking, and enjoying an active lifestyle in nature. Both before and after sun exposure, the skin requires special care. That’s why two new products have been developed: “AMBERGLOW” SPF 50+ facial moisturizer for intensive protection, and “AFTERGLOW” antioxidant balm to help restore the skin after sun exposure.

Anastasija Udalova, co-owner and CEO of H.A.Brieger, emphasizes: “People who need sun protection the most are never the ones sitting in the shade – they’re constantly on the move. A life spent outside of four walls demands not only endurance, but also reliable skin protection. That’s exactly why we developed AMBERGLOW – moisturizer with the latest and most stable sun protection filters that don’t irritate the eyes and are suitable for all skin types – and AFTERGLOW, an effective antioxidant balm that helps combat hyperpigmentation and restores the skin after a day in the sun. The effectiveness of both products has been clinically proven, and their compact 50 ml packaging makes them perfect for an active lifestyle – easy to take along in a backpack or gym bag, so skincare is always within reach, anytime and anywhere.”

A responsible choice for effective sun protection

The AMBERGLOW SPF 50+ moisturizer provides effective daily protection against sun exposure and other harmful environmental factors. Featuring next-generation sun filters, it offers high-level protection against UVA and UVB rays, free radicals, and helps prevent premature skin aging. Thanks to its rich blend of active ingredients – panthenol, aloe vera extract, vitamin E, niacinamide, and hyaluronic acid – the skin is not only shielded but also deeply hydrated and revitalized. AMBERGLOW SPF 50+ is suitable for all skin types, including the sensitive area around the eyes. Its lightweight texture absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy residue or clogging pores. The result is long-lasting comfort and a pleasant skin feel throughout the day. For optimal protection, it is recommended to generously apply the product to the face and neck before going outdoors.

A conscious choice for radiant, even-toned skin

The AFTERGLOW restorative antioxidant balm is a reliable skincare ally all year round. Enriched with vitamin C and niacinamide, it helps reduce hyperpigmentation, evens out skin tone, and provides antioxidant protection. Panthenol and hyaluronic acid soothe and hydrate the skin, while urea helps to reduce the effects of UV-induced damage and slows down premature aging. AFTERGLOW has a light, silky texture that absorbs instantly, delivering nourishing care without leaving the skin greasy. For best results, use the balm regularly – in the morning or evening – as part of your daily skincare routine. During the day, it is recommended to pair it with a sun protection product like AMBERGLOW SPF 50+ to prevent sun-induced pigmentation and other skin damage.

“AMBERGLOW” SPF 50+ and “AFTERGLOW” are now available for purchase at the “Dzintars” online store www.dzintars.lv, as well as in the “Stockmann” department store, and retail chains such as “Douglas,” “Drogas,” “Maxima,” “Rimi,” and others.

About H.A.Brieger

The origins of the Dzintars cosmetics brand date back to 1849, when Heinrich Adolph Brieger founded a soap and perfumery factory in Riga.
