RIGA - The majority or 73 percent of Latvian residents are optimistic and believe that the worst stage of Covid-19 is already behind them, according to the results of a survey conducted by Benu pharmacy.
Meanwhile, 13 percent tend to agree that the worst part of the pandemic is not yet behind them, while another 14 percent have not been able to give a specific opinion.
This past November, the situation was the opposite - 77 percent of the surveyed Latvian residents thought that the worst stage of Covid-19 was still ahead. Only 10 percent tended to agree that the worst part of the pandemic was behind them, but another 13 percent could not give a concrete answer.
The survey was conducted in cooperation with the Internet research company Gemius, surveying 1,859 respondents in March.
