72% of Latvian business representatives believe company’s security systems are priority – poll

RIGA – The majority or 72 percent of Latvian business representatives believe that the company’s security systems are the priority, according to the poll conducted by Norstat Latvia and Bite Latvija mobile operator.

Respondents said that they take care of the company’s security systems and data security by using licensed software, installing passwords and anti-virus software on their devices.

Less often physical security solutions are used. Every second business representatives uses security guard services, codes to access the company’s premises, entrance passes, etc., while 31 percent use video surveillance solutions.

The survey confirmed that 10-15 years ago security associated with alarms, entrance passes, locked doors and physical guarding, while now it means protection of devices from cyber attacks.
