500-kilogram aerial bomb discovered in Rumbula

RIGA - A 500-kilogram aerial bomb was discovered during excavation works in Rumbula on Wednesday, Sandra Brale, National Armed Forces spokeswoman, told LETA.

The bomb has already been transported to the Adazi military field for destruction.

LETA was informed by the State Police that the object was found at 37 Lidlauka Street.
