RIGA - A Baltic International Bank Latvian Barometer poll has revealed that nearly half of Latvian residents feel that EU membership has more pros and than cons.
Meanwhile, 29 per cent of those surveyed believe that Latvian membership brings greater disadvantages than advantages, and 22 per cent did not have an opinion on the subject.
This is significant jump in pro-EU residents, as in 2013 only 37 per cent of residents said that EU membership has more pros and than cons, and in 2014, 35 per cent of residents had the same opinion.
