VILNIUS – Three new coronavirus cases were confirmed in Lithuania on Tuesday night, bringing the total number of infections to 25, the country's Health Ministry said.
The three people are now placed in isolation and undergoing treatment at Santara Clinics in Vilnius. Two of them have recently returned from abroad and visited countries like Belgium, Switzerland, France and the UK. Information on the third one is still being collected.
A bit earlier on Tuesday, four new coronavirus cases were confirmed, including two people in Vilnius who had recently returned from the Netherlands and the Czech Republic, and two in the western city of Klaipeda where people had recently returned from northern Italy and Denmark.
All in al, 25 coronavirus cases have so far been confirmed in Lithuania. The first patient, a woman in the northern city of Siauliai, has already recovered and been released from hospital.
