2015 saw lowest number of road traffic victims killed since 1990

Monday January 4 saw Lithuanian police figures reveal the number of people killed in traffic accidents in 2015. The figure was the lowest since Lithuania restored its independence from the Soviet Union in 1990.  In 2015, 241 people were killed on Lithuania roads. In 2014, 267 were killed, while in 2013, 256 lost their lives.  Last year's number of victims included 81 pedestrians. It is not known how many BMW drivers were involved in these incidents.
