1,354 Ukrainian residents have got jobs in Latvia

RIGA - By April 21, 1,354 Ukrainian residents have got jobs in Latvia, LETA learned from the State Revenue Service.

Also, eight Ukrainian refugees have registered with the State Revenue Service as business owners.

Of all Ukrainian business owners, one has registered as provider of education services, one as provider of unclassified individual services, and six as providers of hairdresser's and beauty care services.

As reported, 354 Latvian employers have offered jobs to Ukrainian refugees.

The vacancies are offered in such areas as manufacturing and construction (1,501), real estate (948), catering and food processing (332), services sector (300), transport and logistics (240), agriculture and environment (223), tourism and hotels (147), sales and marketing (138), health care and social care (110), energy and power sector (57).
