The May 9 events at Victory Park in Riga were attended by approximately 150,000 persons, with only 18 arrested for minor offences.
The information was provided to the LETA news agency by Latvian police spokesman, Dairis Anucins.
He said that event went by relatively peacefully. However, police detained 18 persons for various offences, and detained another with a warrant out for his arrest.
