12 startups to represent Latvia and Riga at Slush 2024 technology and innovation conference

RIGA - Riga will be represented by 12 startups and ecosystem organizations at the European start-up conference Slush 2024, informed Madara Oga, Chief Project Manager of the International Marketing Department of Riga Investment and Tourism Agency.

On November 20-21, the Slush 2024 technology and innovation conference will take place in Helsinki, Finland.

It will give companies the opportunity to gain international recognition, experience, network with the most important investors in the sector and establish contacts.

With more than 3,300 investors and 5,500 start-ups, Slush is said to be the most important meeting point for global innovators, entrepreneurs and investors in Europe.

The participation of the Latvian delegation is organized by the Riga Investment and Tourism Agency (RITA), the Latvian Investment and Development Agency (LIAA) and the Latvian Embassy in Finland.

During Slush 2024, the Latvian delegation will organize two events that will offer a unique opportunity to get to know the Latvian startup ecosystem and its representatives.

The reception at the Latvian Embassy in Finland will take place on November 19 and will focus on a panel discussion with the leading organizations of the Latvian startup ecosystem - TechChill, StartupHouse and Riga Tech Girls, moderated by Ieva Felmena from RITA.

The Pitch&Bites session on November 21 will feature 12 of the most promising Latvian startups presenting their innovative solutions.

The Latvian delegation includes Abillio, Sorsera, Bruntor, Cellbox Labs, Distant Race Management, Viangoo, WeedBot, Orbit8, Empyrio, Forse AI, Ezuro and Handwave.
