VILNIUS - Railsbank, a leading UK-based open-banking and RegTech platform, has opened a new office in Vilnius, Lithuania's investment-promoting agency, Invest Lithuania, reports.
Railsbank has recently hired seven new engineers in Vilnius and has plans to grow the headcount significantly over the coming years.
Nigel Verdon, co-founder and CEO of Railsbank, says he has worked for many years with Lithuanian development teams and values their skills and experience.
Mantas Katinas, director general at Invest Lithuania, says the number of fintech companies in Lithuania rose over 40 percent last year.
