St.Petersburg reports on Latvian citizen among blast victims; Latvian Foreign Ministry has no such information

ST.PETERSBURG/RIGA - There are four foreign nationals among the people killed in the subway explosion in St.Petersburg, including a Latvian citizen, the city healthcare committee head Valery Kolabutin told the press.

Meanwhile, the Latvian Foreign Ministry does not have any information about a Latvian citizen injured in the blast.

Earlier, St.Petersburg Governor Georgy Poltavchenko reported that there are three foreigners among the victims - Belarus, Uzbek and Tajik nationals.

As reported, a blast in St.Petersburg's subway on Monday killed at least 14 people and injured more than 50 others. The Russian authorities and media reported that the bombing was conducted by a Russian citizen born in Kyrgyzstan who might be indirectly related with the Islamic State terrorist group.
