A protest organised by the Ukrainian Congress of Latvia, gathered around 30 people outside the Russian Embassy in Riga this evening, LETA observed.
The demonstrators demanded the withdrawal of Russian military personnel and equipment from Ukraine’s territory.
Participants of the picket sang the Latvian national anthem, and held Latvian and Ukrainian flags, as well as placards slamming Russian President Vladimir Putin.
