RIGA - One of the main priorities for Smart Administration and Regional Development Minister Inga Berzina (New Unity) will be the establishment and development of the Artificial Intelligence Center, Prime Minister Evika Silina (New Unity) said in a post to Twitter.

Other priorities include reducing bureaucracy in regulations on spatial plans and development of Riga as a metropolis, said Silina.

Berzina will also need to work on development of infrastructure and economic growth at the eastern border, as well as on development of the network of shelters in Latvia.

The prime minister has so far met with eleven ministers to discuss implementation of the government's priorities for 2025.

Silina is yet to meet with three ministers: Foreign Minister Baiba Braze (New Unity), Health Minister Hosams Abu Meri (New Unity) and Agriculture Minister Armands Krauze (Greens/Farmers).
