RIGA - The public must consistently comply with the epidemiological safety requirements set by the government, President Egils Levits emphasized at a press conference on Wednesday after the meeting with Prime Minister Krisjanis Karins (New Unity).
The president acknowledged that the "second wave" of the Covid-19 pandemic had begun in full swing and that, in Levits' view, the safety measures imposed by the government were absolutely necessary. "We must all strive to adhere to them consistently," the president stressed.
