Weather forecasters say the summer has not been much different than the others, although the slate of rainy and gloomy June and early July days makes many allege the opposite: what a horrible Baltic summer has it been so far! The Baltic Times reached out to those who keep a hand on the high season’s pulse best – the Tourism Information Centers (TIC) in the Lithuanian Baltic resort of Palanga and the Latvian summer escape, Jurmala.
