Over half of Latvian residents are satisfied with the work of their local governments - survey

RIGA - According to an SKDS survey, over half of Latvian residents are satisfied with the work of their local governments.

According to the survey conducted in February, respondents were asked how satisfied they were with the work of their local governments.

54 percent of Latvian residents are satisfied with the work of their local governments, according to the survey - 43 percent said that they are ''mostly'' satisfied, with 11 percent saying that they are ''completely'' satisfied.

This is two percentage point more than the previous year, according to the survey.

Meanwhile, 34 percent had an opposite point of view on the work of their local governments, while 12 percent of respondents did not have a point of view at all on this matter.
