RIGA - The ministries should work closely together to attract foreign investors and develop the defense industry, Latvian President Edgars Rinkevics stressed at a meeting with Economics Minister Viktors Valainis (Greens/Farmers).
According to the president's aide Martins Dregeris, during the meeting the parties discussed work on current investment projects, measures implemented to reduce food prices, as well as proposals for balancing heating tariffs in Riga.
The parties also discussed the steps planned to reduce red tape in the sector.
