The Lithuanian Food and Veterinary Service did not find salmonella in the majority of its 230 product samples from frozen food manufacturer Judex, although six samples contained higher amounts of Coliform bacteria than permitted.
"We have received 211 results. We have not established a single case of salmonella in them; however, six samples contained a higher content of E. coli," Mantas Staskevicius, acting chief of the Veterinary Division at the Lithuanian State Food and Veterinary Service, informed BNS Lithuania today.
