Lithuania to give 4.5 mn euros in solar power plant support to residents

The Lithuanian government plans to allocate 4.5 million euros in financial support to residents who have installed small solar power plants. Applications will be accepted as of May, the Energy Ministry says. Owners of detached and semi-detached houses with solar power plants of up to 10kW will be eligible for such financial support.
