Lithuania's postal market grows 56 percent to EUR 70 million in first quarter of 2021

Lithuania's postal and courier services market grew to 69.98 million euros in the first quarter of this year, up 55.9 percent from a year ago, the country's Communications Regulatory Authority said on June 28, citing significantly increased demand for parcel deliveries amid the global coronavirus pandemic. In terms of total revenue, state-owned Lietuvos Pastas (Lithuanian Post) held the largest share of the market, at 27.9 percent, followed by DPD Lietuva with 23.8 percent and Venipak with 14.5 percent.
