Lithuania's per capita cigarette consumption rises by 5 to 55 packs in 2015, alcohol consumption drops

Annual per capita consumption of legal cigarettes in Lithuania rose to 55 packs last year, from 50 packs in 2014, figures from Statistics Lithuania showed on Friday. Consumption per person aged 15 years and over also increased by five packs, to 64 packs, the statistics office said. Lithuania's cigarette production grew by 33.6 per cent in 2015 compared with 2014. Cigarette exports soared by 50.9 per cent, but imports declined by 2.5 per cent. Tobacco product sales, at current prices, rose by 14 per cent to 447.3 million euros. ...
