Leading Taiwanese Innovative IoT Solution Companies Participate in RIGA COMM 2018, October 11-12, in the Republic of Latvia

Entrusted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of ROC (Taiwan), Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), is pleased to announce Taiwan Pavilion’s participation in the ‘RIGA COMM BUSINESS TECHNOLOGY FAIR AND CONFERENCES 2018’ at the International Exhibition Centre Kipsala in Latvia.

TAITRA is participating in the show for the third time. The Taiwan Pavilion will be located at the International Exhibition Centre Ķipsala at Booth No. B8-C7, Hall 2. We invite you to visit the Pavilion and experience these innovative and exciting products from Taiwan.

In 2017, Taiwan's manufacturing output value was US$434.5 billion, increasing 5.85% over 2016. The two key sectors were integrated circuits, with an output value of US$45.4 billion (an increase of 6.75%) and LCD panels and components, valued at US$30.8 billion (an increase of 14.01% over 2016). Similarly, the electronic-components industry comprises a large chunk of Taiwan's manufacturing output value, accounting for US$122.4 billion (an increase of 3.54%).

Over the years, and with the rise of AI and IoT, Taiwan has constituted an important partner for many international brands in the global ICT supply chain, such as Apple, Google and Microsoft. Taiwan is now shifting from high-tech manufacturing to becoming and innovation-driven country that offers integrated solutions.
