Latvian formin expresses support for IAEA's stance on nuclear facilities in Crimea

Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics met with Yukiya Amano, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), in Riga on May 31 and expressed support for IAEA's stance on the status of nuclear facilities in Crimea, the Latvian Foreign Ministry said. The Latvian Foreign Minister and the IAEA Director General discussed Latvia's engagement in the agency's activities, the monitoring of North Korea's nuclear programme, and Ukrainian nuclear facilities in the territory of Crimea, which was illegally annexed by Russia.
