Latvia's export of goods rises 8.2 pc, imports 11.3 pc in five months

Latvia exported goods worth EUR 4.404 billion in the first five months this year, which is 8.2 percent or EUR 332.4 million more than in January-May 2016, and imported goods worth EUR 5.371 billion, an increase of 11.3 percent or EUR 543.8 million on the first five months of 2016, according to the Central Statistical Bureau's data. In May, Latvia exported goods in the amount of EUR 936.896 million, which is 9 percent or EUR 77.3 million more than in April and 9.2 percent or EUR 79.1 million more than in May 2016. Latvia's imports of goods in May amounted to EUR 1....
