International project “United Fashion” took place in Riga

RIGA - In the end of October this year, during RIGA FASHION WEEK, an international fashion industry project of European significance – “United Fashion” took place in Latvia. Within the program of the project, following events took place: European designers' showroom, seminar and workshop on “Digitization. Brand Management”, as well as the networking event, during which designers had the opportunity to obtain significant contact information for the development of their business.
 
The Baltic Fashion Federation is the official partner and organizer of this project in Latvia, having organized its events during the latest RIGA FASHION WEEK. “Partnership in the “United Fashion” project gave us the opportunity to provide new opportunities not only for local, but also for foreign brands, fashion designers and other professionals of this industry. Because of the participation in this project, the participants of this season's RIGA FASHION WEEK also benefited as they were able to show their collections to a record number of international experts and buyers who have already shown great interest about performance of Latvian fashion designers and are looking for cooperation opportunities,” says the Baltic Fashion Federation President Jelena Strahova. “The participating designers of the “United Fashion” project got acquainted with the Latvian market, besides, this international cooperation allowed us to expand the geographical profile – this year, for the first time, on the podium of RIGA FASHION WEEK brands from Macedonia and Portugal presented their collections," continues J. Strahova.
 
At the “United Fashion” European designer showroom there were 15 fashion brands from 8 countries presenting their collections: Agnes Nordenholz from Germany, Teodora Mitrovska from Macedonia, Doriane Van Overeem, Sander Bos & Ruud Antoniand Snobe from Belgium, Gamme Blanche from France, Duarteand Imuave from Portugal, Diana Arno from Estonia, Undress and Kristi Andress from Lithuania and from Latvia – One Wolf, Talented, Pixie Won’t Playand Vaskala. These fashion brands showed their collections to the international fashion community for two days – to buyers, media representatives, bloggers and influencers, as well as RIGA FASHION WEEK guests.
