RIGA - If Covid-19 restrictions are eased and one sector is opened, other sectors might come up with similar requests, including the culture sector that has been closed since November last year, said Culture Minister Nauris Puntulis (National Alliance).
Assessing the risks and Health Ministry's recommendations, the government decided to allow beauty care services as of March 1.
The minister said that there are active meetings with the sector's representatives to discuss "exit strategies" in line with the "traffic light principle" approved by the governments and general trends in Europe and the neighboring countries.
As reported, the state of emergency has been declared in Latvia from November 9, 2020, until April 6, with a number of restrictions in force.
