RIGA - The government on Wednesday expanded the range of companies whose operations have been affected by Russia's war in Ukraine, which are eligible to apply for Development Finance Institution Altum's loans.
According to the Economics Ministry, Altum has already begun accepting loan applications from companies affected by Russia's military aggression against Ukraine.
The government today also eased requirements on large companies so more companies could apply for Altum support.
All companies affected by the consequences of Russia's military aggression in Ukraine, regardless of their line of business, will be able to apply for Altum aid, including agricultural, fishing and aquaculture companies.
The maximum loan amount is EUR 3 million.
