Flashpoint invites seed and late-seed stage SaaS Startups to pitch in front of the leading VCs in Central and Eastern Europe, Finland, Baltics and Israel

Flashpoint, international investment group with c. US$0.5 billion AUM announces its 3rd annual SummerSaaS conference for venture capital firms and tech startups with founders from Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), Israel, Finland and the Baltics. The Conference is scheduled for June 9, 2022 in online format. 

Flashpoint is one of the most active investors in its core geography: as at the end of 2021 Flashpoint’ active portfolio comprised of 38 technology companies, established by the founders from Central and Eastern Europe, Baltics, Finland and Israel. During 2021 alone Flashpoint funds invested in 23 new companies and made 11 follow-on investments into the existing portfolio companies for a total of US$93 million. SummerSaaS serves the purpose to replenish the funnel and to give the best startups an opportunity to pitch not only to the Fund’s Partners but also to other leading VCs of the region.

SaaS startup founders can submit their online pitch via SummerSaas registration page. Those applying require a monthly recurring revenue between $10k and $100k, and/or raised between $0.3m and $3m. 

The SummerSaaS 2022 conference will feature the main stage with a PITCH competition, VC panel discussions on trending topics, corporate panels with the region's leading technology companies.

For the third year in a row, the competition selects the most promising startups and provides a rare opportunity to pitch in front of hundreds of leading Seed and Series A investors. Last year jury included such pan-european names as Sequoia Europe, Tiger Global, Prosus Ventures, SpeedInvest, Earlybird, Cherry Ventures, Runa Capital, 500 Startups, OTB, Hoxton Ventures, as well as Geo-focused VCs from Israel (Viola Growth, NFX, State of Mind Ventures, Grove Ventures, Vertex Israel, Cornerstone VC), Eastern Europe (Day One Ventures, Credo Ventures, Launchub, Early Game Ventures, Lighthouse, Reflex Capital, Vitosha Venture Partners, BrightCap Ventures, FilRouge Ventures, South Central Ventures, Venture Friends, Market One Capital, Inovo Ventures, Innovation Nest Ventures, Portfolion, 3VC), Baltic (Change VC, Tera VC, Baring Vostok Capital Partners, Redseed, Impulse VC, Genesis, IIDF) and Finland (Icebreaker, Vendep, Maki VC).

In 2022, Flashpoint plans to double its audience from last year's 1,100 participants and invite leading tech startups, leading venture capitalists, media representatives and other tech industry players. 

Pitch competition will cover five tracks: Vertical Saas (construction, real-estate, logistics, etc.), Horizontal Saas (productivity, sales, HR, support), Developer Tools (R&D productivity, product analytics, DevOps), Fintech, New Economy (Gig economy, Web3). 

Flashpoint will identify the best 25 startups to pitch to a VC jury of leading European and Global VC, with one winner from each track progressing to the final. A selected group of 5 finalists will present before a Grand Finale VC Jury. From the 5 finalists, one will be picked as the winner. In addition, there will be a Startup Alley for the startups selected from the applications.

Prizes and perks for the participants include 10k+ Amazon Web Services credits, huge Hubspot discounts and a complete Inbound Marketing Course from Hubspot's top experts (worth 5k+), a complete recruiting solution from Comeet. What is more, the Winner of the Grand Final will receive an individual coach session with Flashpoint Investment Team, that will help with the positioning, pitching, intros to the relevant VCs.

Moreover, a new pitch track for tech startups operating in Ukraine will be organised, the winner of this track will get the monetary prize. In addition, this year we will offer an opportunity for the attendees to choose the paid ticket, all the proceeds will be also donated to the winner.
