RIGA - The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) will hear the complaint filed by Latvian parents about liquidation of Jelgava Elementary School No. 2, LETA learned from lawyer Samirs Askerovs, a representative of parents' initiative group.
Askerovs said that the complaint has been filed with ECHR on May 22, and on August 10 the court made the decision to hear the case.
During the pretrial process, the responsible state and municipal institutions will be required to provide explanations.
