Estonian Supreme Court rules to leave most of administrative reform law in force

TALLINN – Estonia’s Administrative Reform Act is to remain in force for the most part, the Supreme Court announced on Tuesday. Constitutional Review Chamber of the Supreme Court said on Tuesday that the requests of the councils of Kopu, Juuru and Tostamaa have to be satisfied partially, and the “but not more than for up to 100,000 euros” part of a sentence of section 24, subsection 1 has to be declared unconstitutional and void.
