Estonia to invest 300 million euro in R&D, 30 million euro in digital state

The Estonian state is about to invest more than 300 million euros in research and development and 30 million euros in the foundations of the digital state in 2022, according to the draft of the state budget approved by the Cabinet.  With said investment, the government will bring R&D funding up to the level of 1 percent of gross domestic product (GDP).
