TALLINN - The mayor of Estonia's second-largest city Tartu, Urmas Klaas, has requested that the parliament and the Government Office examine the possibility of holding events and meetings in the framework of Estonia's EU presidency in other places besides the capital Tallinn, news portal of the public broadcaster ERR reports.
Klaas outlined in his letter to Prime Minister Taavi Roivas and Speaker Eiki Nestor several factors which should be taken into account following preparations for the presidency.
