RIGA - In recent years, employers in Latvia have been struggling with critical labor shortages, the Latvian Association for People Management informed.
A survey of the association’s members reveals a dire shortage of employees, which is why personnel managers have been increasingly using new methods and innovative solutions in addition to their conventional methods of work.
“In recent years, personnel managers in Latvia’s enterprises have been experiencing a shortage of skilled workers. Now, the problem has become critical,” said the association’s head Eva Selga.
Latvian Association for People Management is a Latvian organization connecting human resource professionals. The association was established in 1996 and represents 245 Latvian enterprises and organizations.
