TALLINN - On Monday morning, the Bronze Soldier monument at the cemetery of the defense forces in Tallinn was adorned with a bouquet of flowers decorated in the colors of the Russian flag, Postimees reports.
This act constitutes a violation of the law, as the use of symbols of an aggressor state is prohibited in Estonia. The individual who informed the newspaper about the bouquet removed it from the monument and took a photograph of it before discarding it in a trash bin.
The individual who placed the flowers had clearly identified themselves on a ribbon attached to the bouquet. The flowers, adorned with the symbols of the aggressor state, were reportedly placed at the cemetery by representatives of the aggressor state's embassy.
