Baltic herring harvesting quota in open waters of Baltic Sea to be cut by 36%

TALLINN - Due to a decline in the Baltic herring stocks of the open waters of the Baltic Sea, the Baltic herring harvesting quota for the open waters of the Baltic for 2021 has to be cut by 36 percent, an Estonian official said on Wednesday.  On Tuesday, two days of negotiations on Baltic Sea fish harvesting quotas between the countries bordering on the Baltic Sea came to an end.
